Custom Negotiator Hilt Conversion
"ANTIOCH"
"Antioch" begins with the internal detail. These are the final parts of the forward facing G-Core. Note the brass photo-etched screen used on the sleeve's cutouts. These cutouts don't need to be straight, since the black grip into which they slide has precision cut grooves. The two larger aluminum rings are faceted and milled in opposing layouts. When placed together, with the crystal mount inside them, the effect is very layered and complex looking, as I imagine the "real thing" would look.
Assembling the parts into the sleeve, then adding lots of tiny detail, creates this sub-assembly. The CFv4 board is concealed underneath the wide brass tube towards the rear, and the two micro switches are mounted behind it. By cramming many of the electronics into this sleeve, the complete module can slide easily into the Negotiator hilt's main grip. All the wires will be concealed under the crystal (see the area without any detail parts on the sleeve)
Final comparison shot, with "Antioch" on the bottom. "Antioch" was a fun build and a welcome chance to design a different take on the Negotiator hilt's popular crystal chamber layout.
